Scope: what we can and cannot remove
This website publishes text guides, the HiTV app icon, and app screenshots. We respond to valid notices regarding that material. We do not host any video content or APK files; the streaming content lives on the app operator's infrastructure, and download links point to servers we don't control. Notices about content inside the HiTV app should go to the app's operator, since removing a link from our pages does not remove any file from the internet.
Filing a takedown notice
If you believe material on hitv-apps.com infringes your copyright, send a notice under 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3) containing:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
- The exact URL(s) on hitv-apps.com where the material appears.
- Your name, organization, mailing address, phone number, and email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Send it to [email protected] with "DMCA Notice" in the subject line.
What happens next
We review complete notices promptly, normally within a few business days. If a notice is valid, we remove or disable access to the identified material and note the removal on the affected page where appropriate. Incomplete notices get a reply asking for the missing pieces.
Counter-notices
If your material was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice with your contact details, identification of the removed material and its former URL, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was erroneous, consent to the jurisdiction of your local federal district court, and your signature. We forward valid counter-notices to the original complainant and may restore the material after 10 to 14 business days unless they file a court action.
Misrepresentation
Knowingly filing a false infringement claim carries liability under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), including damages and attorneys' fees. Please make sure your claim is real before sending it.
Repeat infringement
Since all content on this site is written by us, repeat-infringer scenarios are unlikely, but we will honor the spirit of the DMCA in any situation that arises.
